A small-group coaching retreat for recreational players who are serious about their game, set on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
Who This Is For
You play 3 to 5 times a week. You take it seriously. You have been stuck at the same level for longer than you would like to admit, and you know why. You have not had coaching that actually responds to you.
You want a week that changes how you think about the game. You want to come home and play differently. You want your partner to notice. You want to notice yourself.
And you want to do all of it in one of the most beautiful places on earth, with someone who knows exactly what it takes to develop a player.
This is not a resort vacation with a few drills thrown in. And it is not for someone who plays 3.5 but thinks they are 4.5. If you are coachable, hungry, and ready to reset your game, you will fit right in.
Most coaches have one system. One way of delivering information. They run every student through the same drill sequence and wonder why some people plateau.
That is not how this works. At Costa Pickle, every session adapts to the player in front of us. We find what you respond to, meet you there, and do not stop until you feel the difference on court.
Eight guests. Six days. One coach who took a recreational player to the PPA Tour in 15 months. The math is simple.
The Coach
Kyle got into pickleball during COVID and became obsessed immediately. He earned his Level 1 certification while still in school, not because he needed it, but because he already knew where he was going. His Level 2 followed shortly after, cementing a coaching foundation built on real development methodology, not just court time.
He cold-called the owner of the first indoor pickleball facility in his area before it even opened. Left the meeting with a job. Spent two years building all the programming, development systems, and operations from scratch. They went on to serve 400 members.
A coaching lesson at that club opened the door to Costa Rica. Kyle came down, fell in love with the country and the courts, and never really left. He has been coaching and competing for five years, and this retreat is the culmination of everything he has built.
"Victoria came to me as a 4.0 recreational player. She was athletic but her soft game and pickleball IQ were not there yet. I saw the potential immediately. Fifteen months later she was a professionally signed PPA Tour player, drafted by Major League Pickleball, with multiple quarter-final runs to her name."

Where You'll Stay

A private beachside estate with ocean-view suites, luxury glamping tents, an infinity pool overlooking the Pacific, and a private chef. This is where the week lives when you are not on court.
Explore The EstateThe Week
Every day is designed with purpose. Coaching in the cool of the morning, afternoons to explore and recover, evenings that become memories. Tap any day to see what is in store.
Welcome to Costa Rica
▾Your driver meets you at the airport and brings you straight to the estate. No logistics, no confusion. Settle into your suite or tent, meet your fellow guests, and sit down together for a private chef dinner as the sun sets over the Pacific. The week starts exactly like this.
First on Court
▾Morning session runs 7 to 9am while the air is cool and the courts are yours. Structured coaching grouped by level, focused on fundamentals and game analysis. Afternoons are free — explore by golf cart, hit the beach, grab lunch at one of the local spots nearby. Back on court 4 to 6pm for guided play applying what you worked on in the morning. Tonight is yours to explore the local restaurant scene.
Building Momentum
▾Same rhythm as Monday — early morning session, free afternoon to recharge, then back on court for the afternoon session. By day two the group is clicking, the coaching is getting sharper, and you are already starting to feel the difference. Tonight the private chef returns to the estate for dinner.
Courts Then Catamaran
▾Morning session only today. Work hard, then reward yourself. Wednesday afternoon the group boards a catamaran for a sunset sail along the Pacific coast. Late lunch and early dinner on the water, a cold drink in hand, watching the sun drop into the ocean. This is the evening everyone talks about when they get home.
Deep Work
▾Full day back on court. Morning and afternoon sessions with the energy of a group that has found its rhythm. By Thursday you are playing differently. You can feel it. The afternoon session starts to look ahead toward Friday and the tournament. Private chef dinner at the estate tonight to fuel the final push.
Tournament Day
▾Morning session wraps up the coaching week. Then at 3pm the round robin tournament begins. Premium prizes on the line — paddles, apparel, gear. Play hard. Compete. Celebrate. When the final point is played the group heads to Gracia Restaurant for the end of week dinner and ceremony. One of the best evenings of the trip.
Last Morning in Paradise
▾Breakfast at the estate, one last coffee with the view, then your private transfer to the airport. You leave with a certified pickleball rating, a video analysis of your game, memories that do not fade, and a group chat that stays active long after the week ends.
